Background

In healthcare settings, creating a positive and uplifting environment is crucial for the well-being of patients, visitors, and staff. LEDtronics partnered with two hospitals (KPJ Tawakkal KL Specialist Hospital & Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur) to explore how LED displays could enhance the ambience and mood in these healthcare facilities.

Before Installation

Before the installation of LED displays, the hospital lobbies were either using a static display or using out-of-date videowalls. The typical setting involved plain walls, standard informational posters, and a general lack of visual stimulation.

The LEDtronics Solution

LEDtronics proposed the installation of vibrant, high-resolution LED displays in the Lobby area of the hospitals. The LED displays were strategically placed in high-traffic areas to maximize their impact, and to deliver timely information to patients and visitors alike.

After Installation

The transformation was immediate and noticeable. The vibrant and dynamic content on the LED displays significantly improved the atmosphere in the hospitals. Hospital staff also appreciated the change.

KPJ Tawakkal KL Specialist Hospital used their LED Displays to show the latest Hospital promotions, treatment information and miscellaneous visuals to brighten up the environment.

Gleneagles Hospital used their ultra wide LED display as a digital Doctor Directory; they are able to change or add doctor’s names without difficulty. They are also using it to display latest hospital promotions.

Visitors enjoyed the engaging content, which provided timely information during their visits. Additionally, the informational content displayed helped educate and inform patients about health practices and hospital services in a more engaging manner.

Conclusion

The installation of LEDtronics’ LED displays in Malaysian hospitals successfully enhanced the mood and atmosphere in these healthcare settings. This case study highlights how innovative technology can play a crucial role in improving the healthcare environment, supporting LEDtronics’ mission to deliver impactful LED display solutions.
