Modernising a Lecture Theatre with P1.25i LED Displays @ Taylor’s University C-1 Room

Project Overview:
LEDtronics was tasked with upgrading Room C1 at Taylor’s University with the latest display technology. The goal was to enhance the visual quality for students and lecturers in the lecture hall, replacing the outdated projector system with high-quality LED displays.
Our Challenges:
Room C1 required a display solution capable of delivering sharp and clear visuals for a variety of teaching and learning materials, ranging from presentation slides and videos to live demonstrations.
While the old projector system was still functional but then lecturers and students often encountered issues with lighting and low image quality, especially during large presentations. This resulted in the audience losing focus and always being distracted by these unclear visuals.
Our challenge at LEDtronics was to address these issues by finding the right size and type of LED display to suit the room’s layout, ensuring:
- High resolution;
- Bright, vibrant colours; and
- Durability (long-lasting and robust performance).
Our Solution:
We from LEDtronics proposed the installation of 2 units of P1.25i LED Display (SMD), each measuring 2.88m (W) x 1.6m (H). The P1.25i was selected for its fine pixel pitch, ensuring sharp image clarity and producing vibrant colour, even from a distance.
The wall-mounted design not only maximized space but also provided an unobstructed view for all attendees in the room. Additionally, the new LED display system was seamlessly integrated with the room’s existing setup, offering a user-friendly interface for lecturers to enhance their teaching and presentations.
The Results:
The installation of the P1.25i LED display has significantly improved the visual quality in Room C1. With a high pixel pitch density of 1.25mm, the display can produce bright and vibrant colours. This has made presentations, videos and live demonstrations look even clearer and more engaging.
Lecturers at Taylor’s University can now deliver content that is easily visible to students, even in low light. All the issues related to poor lighting have been resolved, as the LED display can maintain its sharpness and brightness regardless of the ambient lighting conditions.
