Desa ParkCity, Kuala Lumpur, covering 473 acres of prime freehold land, is one of the fastest growing and best-selling master planned communities in Malaysia. Located in the affluent north-western district of Kuala Lumpur, Desa ParkCity is a place where people live, work and play. LEDtronics is proud to win the bid for the complete design & build of front lit LED channel letters at the hillside of ParkCity Heights. The project involves a 40′ tall Giant Palm Tree, and twelve (12) nos. of 20′ tall lettering. The installation was successfully completed on 24th December 2012. The total area, covering over 330 sq.m. is illuminated using LED back lighting technology, and high-quality translucent acrylic face from PLEXIGLASS. The fully water-proof, extremely durable and high intensity LED has an energy savings of 70% over neon. Although there are more than 46,000 nos. of LED modules used, the total power consumption is only 11,000 watts. The display is so unique that it featured a white colored appearance by day, and vibrant color when backlit by night. LEDtronics was chosen as the preferred LED display partner to supply and install the first of-its-kind LED channel letters on a 20′ x 60′ double-sided billboard, located along the North-Klang-Valley Expressway. The installation was successfully completed on 7th July 2012.
