Menara IQ is HSBC’s new Malaysia HQ and is a 34-storey office tower, located in the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) a new financial district currently being developed in Kuala Lumpur. LEDtronics was chosen to build the rooftop transparent LED Display on Menara IQ, at TRX. We used P25-75 mm LED strips to create a unique LED display on the latest prestigious skyscraper. We chose a transparent display to solve the owner’s concerns about wind load at the top of the building, which will be able to display visually pleasing visuals while still maintaining aerodynamics. When it was fired up, we looked on from afar with pride, happy that we had managed to mark another landmark in Kuala Lumpur.
